All Blacked Up: Spirits of Another Sort
All Blacked Up have played at most of the main folk festivals and ceilidh clubs in England. Formed in 1986 they have developed into one of the most distinctive sounds on the folk circuit combining the traditional sounds of melodeons, harmonica, recorders and whistles with
the more jazzy saxophones upon a bed of guitar, bass and drums.
Spirits of Another Sort is their second CD and offers a varied and highly listenable sound. 14 tracks and over 50 minutes.
