AGP Studio is the sole reponsibility of Alistair Gillies (that's me to the left!) and I have been playing, mixing and recording for over 20 years. Although my specialism is acoustic music (especially traditional instruments) I am experienced in recording guitars, drums and vocals and any band is welcome.

AGP Studio is based around the Soundscape 32 hard disk recorder and the Yamaha 02R Digital mixing desk. Add to these a range of top of the range microphones [starting with Neumann] and Mackie HR824 monitors and I have the perfect setup with which to offer you an efficient recording experience and an amazing sound.

Whatever your recording needs - a demo, a full CD or a track to send to "Stars in Their Eyes" [yes, I have recorded one], you should talk to me.

This setup is particularly flexible when it comes to editing recorded work. I can make a CD Master from almost any format - Mini Disk, Cassette, DAT, etc or edit and cut up a continuous live recording to make a CD.
